When you stay with us at Dover Sands, you enjoy a two bedroom, two bathroom suite with the comforts of home. Traveling in groups is often difficult when it comes to space. We took this into consideration when designing the suite. Some guests are families up to six and are used to being in close quarters together but often times there are six people sharing the cost of the room who aren't necessarily accustomed to the intimacy of a vacation rental. Dover Sands is perfect for any guest in that you will not have that feeling of stepping all over one another and maintaining a sense of privacy for everyone.

Your suite is fully furnished with comfortable conversational seating, dining areas, spacious bedrooms & baths and outdoor living. The suite sleeps 6 guests with a king in the master bedroom, a queen in the second bedroom and a full futon/sofa bed. The bedrooms are large in size with ample closet space. The master features a spacious bathroom with vanity area and separate water closet and tiled shower and tub.

The second bathroom is also spacious and accommodates multiple guests. The suite is an open floor plan with common seating area surrounding a 50" flat panel television, a bar height dining area and an office nook with phone and DSL computer hook up for those that can't leave work totally behind. Continuing the theme of giving you the comforts of home, your suite also features a completely equipped kitchen. This kitchen can easily be the socializing center as it tends to be at home. Guests can gather around the kitchen island with seating and chat with or assist the cook as they prepare meals on a glass top electric range. The kitchen is also equipped with a full-size microwave, dishwasher, and fridge with ice maker, blender, toaster and coffee maker. To top it all off, we added an in-suite stacked washer/dryer unit for added convenience. In addition to the luxurious interior, we brought the outdoors in with a balcony and views of both the Pacific Ocean and San Diego Bay. Double French doors open exposing blue skies and welcoming a cool salty breeze giving you a penthouse feel.

Not only was our goal to make design your suite for comfort, we extended the concept to exterior living as well. Enjoy the morning paper and a cup of coffee alongside the relaxing water fountain within the private courtyard. In addition to the courtyard, we have an outdoor living room with a dining table and umbrella which seats six and two chaise lounges for drifting off beneath the warm San Diego sun. During the day you're surrounded by colorful plants that attract hummingbirds galore and in the evening the outdoor room glows under soft garden lighting. Use this space to gather family and friends and BBQ meals and create memorable times together.

This outdoor room is even equipped with an outside shower to rinse off the salt and sand to round off the many amenities you get when staying with us at Dover Sands.
